Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development: New Frontier's Sustainable Denim and Global Growth

For World Trade Month, the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development featured New Frontier as a rural Eastern Kentucky company connecting Appalachian design and responsible apparel with customers in wider markets.

The feature traces New Frontier's story back to Morehead, where brothers Jared and Joshua Ravenscraft founded the company. It also spotlights the brand's circular-denim work, which uses recycled denim to create clothing designed for long-term wear.

The Cabinet recognized New Frontier's use of the Kentucky State Trade Expansion Program, a partnership between the Cabinet and the U.S. Small Business Administration that helps Kentucky companies build the knowledge and relationships needed to pursue export opportunities.

We are proud to build from Eastern Kentucky and grateful for the partners helping Kentucky-made ideas reach new places.
